Six Sided Sampler

Hi Everyone,

     Sometimes when I make a card I feel that something is lacking,  I usually just move on and make another.  This time however I decided to try it again and was much happier the 2nd time around.  I embossed the stamp in black and while it took away a bit of the detail in the stamp, it made it much easier to color in the small flowers and leaves.

Tag Talk

Hi Everyone,
     I made another wedding card today, this time with all new supplies.  The Washi Tape was put on the card before I ran it through the Big Shot and looks like its a part of the card stock instead of an addition to it.  I twisted the Baker's Twine together before I tied it, but I think it would look just as nice separated too.

Label Love

Hi Everyone,

     I took a break from the new catalog goodies (well, not Blackberry Bliss) to make a wedding card for an upcoming wedding we are going to.  I paired Label Love with Daydream Medallions and the stamps look like they were made to be stamped together.  The label fits perfectly inside of one of the stamps from Daydream Medallions.

Bordering Blooms

Hi Everyone,

     Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather!  I took a break from the Flower Patch set today and used the new Bordering Blooms.   Stampin' Up discontinued their wheels with the last catalog and the current catalog has several new border type stamp sets.  While they are all on my wish list..., this is the set I chose first.  I love coloring so it was fun for me to use this set, but it has a few other options with it if you are not a fan.

Flower Patch

Hi Everyone!
     I finally broke out my Flower Fair Framelits today, the ones that match the Flower Patch stamp set.  This set is just such fun and the possibilities are endless.  I used the Blackberry Bliss again too - I think I'm addicted to this color and a lot of other people must be too because the card stock didn't ship with the rest of my order when Stampin' Up shipped.  Hope its not too long before I get it since I'm running out!

Banner Banter

Hi Everyone,
     I loved the little Banner Punch from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog, so I was very glad to see it make it into the new Annual Catalog.    There are 2 cute Banner stamp sets in the catalog, Itty Bitty Baby and the set I used here, Banner Banter.  I also used the Moonlight DSP Stack, the colors in this stack are just great, I've already had to order a 2nd stack.

     Stampin' Up came out with a new super cute photopolymer set this week.  Calling all Heroes comes with a full alphabet and a lightning bolt that I just adore, 60 stamps in all!

Flower Patch

Hi Everyone,
     Here is another quick sample using the Flower Patch set.  I went back to my new favorite color for this one, Blackberry Bliss.  The background is a paper from the Moonlight DSP Stack.  It has a ton of great papers in it, I think I love all of them!

     More Flower Patch fun today!  I can tell this set is going to be one of my favorites and I still haven't even used the matching framelits with it.   I teamed up Crisp Cantaloupe with Calypso Coral and Island Indigo for this sample and used the new Thick Baker's Twine too.

Bloom with Hope

Hi Everyone,

I've been having some more fun stamping with my new sets!  I used the Hostess set called Bloom with Hope for this card.  I stamped using the new Memento Ink in Black to stamp the flower on Whisper White, then used the new Blendabilities to color in.  (The Blendabilities are not available to purchase yet, but I will let you know when they are).  I fussy cut the flower and then used the Blendabilities marker to go around the edges so no white showed since I'm not the best with scissors.

     I started stamping with some of my new sets out of the catalog today!  Both sets that I used on this card are photopolymer.  So many possibilities with the Flower Patch Set.   I love that it has coordinating framelits too.  I just used the stamps today but I have a feeling this will be my new "go to" set for a while.

Wetlands

Hi Everyone,

     Just 1 more day until we can order from the new catalog!  I can't wait, I keep going over and over my wish list trying to decide what to buy in the order I'm putting in tomorrow.  Too bad my budget doesn't reach as long as my list is - lol. 
    I cased another card yesterday using the Wetlands set.  The original can be found here: Rita's Creations.  I used sponging for the background instead of the aqua painters and changed the colors up a little.  I started by fussy cutting the goose to use to mask before I stamped the grasses in the background.  Cutting like that is not one of my favorite things to do, but I do like how the card came out.
