Poinsettia Petals

 Hi Everyone,

It's always surprising to me when a stamp set becomes a favorite when it started out as something I had almost not bought.  That's what happened with the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.  I have used it so much since I bought it and I wasn't even sure about it in the beginning.  The whole suite is just gorgeous and I can't seem to put it down.  

For this card I used pretty traditional Christmas colors, mixing Real Red cardstock and Cherry Cobbler ink together to create a nice effect.  I paired that with some Shaded Spruce and Mossy Meadow and love how it came out.

Ornamental Envelopes

 Hi Everyone,

So the title of this post is a little misleading...  It is the name of the stamp set I used but I didn't make an envelope.  While the set is designed to help you bump up your envelopes, it has so many other nice elements for card making.  I've used the curved elements to make wreaths and today I used the ornaments to make this card.

Pine Woods Die

 Hi Everyone,

For today's card I went with a monochromatic look using Whisper White, Shimmer White and Very Vanilla.  I added in just a touch of gold and am so happy with how it turned out.  The dies I used on the tree are from the Pine Woods Dies and will be so versatile for so many projects.  It does come in a bundle with a matching stamp set but I didn't use it today.  The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Christmas set in the annual catalog and is a favorite of mine.
