Hi Everyone,

I've been having a great time using my blending brushes with the Artistic Mix Masks in the new annual catalog.  They are on page 128  but I feel like they get overlooked quite a bit.  For this card I inked up 2 different masks on top of each other.  I put the first one down and used my blending brush with Petal Pink and then place the 2nd mask directly on top of that one and used Merry Merlot.  You can use 2 of the other masks in the pack to make a beautiful plaid image as well.  These are really great to use mixing and matching colors to create any background you need.

Brewed For You

Hi Everyone,

Stampin' Up has really hit it out of the park with the masculine sets in the new Annual Catalog.  The Brewed For You bundle lends itself so easily for a masculine card but you could easily switch it up for anyone.  Its so hard to see in the picture but I used one of my new favorite products on this card - the Decorative Circle Punch.  It has such a nice edge around it which will add a nice touch to your projects.

Charming Sentiments and the Artistic Mix Masks

 Hi Everyone,

Today I'm sharing a few new favorites from the Annual Catalog along with some continuing favorites.  If you overlooked the Charming Sentiments Bundle in the catalog, its worth going back for a 2nd look.  I've always loved the look of fussy cutting around a sentiment but because I'm not very good at fussy cutting I never liked how it turned out.  This bundle does the work for you and there are so many different sayings to choose from.  When I cut them out I used the new Magnetic Plate and it holds it in place so nicely.  The whole plate is a magnet rather than discs and this alleviates the dies jumping around.  Finally I used the new Artistic Mix Decorative Masks to make the background on the Soft Sea Foam.  While I used a Blending Brush to make the pattern, you could also use a spritzer or a dauber.
